Juniors taking the ACT: Mark your calendars...There will be a full practice ACT test on Tuesday March 17th at 3:30pm in Mrs. Kim Johnson’s room. This will serve as a primer for the actual test on the 24th. By utilizing this practice test, you will be able to gain an understanding of how the test is set up, what to expect, and put the strategies you have learned from John Baylor to use. 


Students interested in taking online college courses next fall, please see Mr. Seemann. Registration for Fall courses are open. Those needing to take the Accuplacer, you must meet certain requirements to apply to test. See Mr. Seemann for more details.


Juniors and Seniors looking for a paid internship this summer in the healthcare field, Ortonville Area Health Services is accepting applications for their Summer Internship Program. This is an excellent opportunity to receive more knowledge about the industry and to set yourself apart from others who are looking to enter the field. Application deadline is March 27th. The Wrestling awards potluck will be held on Monday March 16th at 6:00 in the Commons.Bring your own plates and utensils. 11th grade bring main dish, 10th grade beverage, 8th grade desert and 7th grade salads. 


The student council is pairing up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at OHS on Wednesday, March 25 from 8:30 to 1:30.  Help the OHS Student Council meet their goal of filling 58 time slots. If this goal is reached the Red Cross will increase the scholarships available to OHS students. Those interested can visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: Ortonville HS to schedule an appointment.  Flyers are posted around the school with more information. The American Red Cross is closely monitoring the coronavirus disease 2019, COVID-19. The Red Cross urgently needs blood drives to run as planned and blood donors of all blood types to give now to prevent any potential shortages during this public health emergency.
