Hi…my name is Peggy Duffield. I believe that Family and Consumer Sciences should be taught to all students, for this particular program teaches valuable family living skills, the work that is involved to keep a family going. I also believe that this program helps students become better functioning members of society. Overall, everyone needs and deserves a good education, and I am happy and proud to be a part of this wonderful program. I hope that you or your children enjoy being involved in these classes, for it is an integral part of being a responsible and independent person, as well as being a lot of fun!

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education – Family and Consumer Education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I also hold an Elementary Licensure from the University of Minnesota, Morris. St. Scholastica was the choice for my Master's Degree in Education. I have been teaching for 27 years in the Family and Consumer Sciences area. My passion outside the classroom is FCCLA.
