4th-6th graders participated in the SWWC Young Artist Conference in Marshall, MN on October 26th






The local FCCLA chapter sponsored a Jello Slide the week of homecoming. The activity was focused on having “Good Clean Fun”?! that week. Anyone in grades 7-12 can join FCCLA any time throughout the school year. See Mrs. Duffield if interested.








At the homecoming game the FCCLA members did a split the pot event.  Mr. Olson won half the pot and received $80.50.  He donated $10 back to the group. Thank you to all who bought tickets. The winnings will be used to help members attend leadership trainings and put back into the community service projects.

Ortonville FCCLA attended the FCCLA Fall Conference on Oct. 4, 2017 at U of MN campus. Students listened to a guest speaker Dr. Jessica Paulsen on the topic of stopping the violence.  FCCLA members rotated to different round tables about FCCLA events.




 



 


Juniors and seniors had the opportunity to attend the college fair at the U of MN campus morris on 10-10-2017. Students visited with 70 different colleges from several states.






Congratulations Maycee on being elected Region 8 BPA Historian! Her campaign manager was Mackenzie S. Other Ortonville students attending and serving as voting delegates were Grace, Jesse, Collin, Bethany, Allie, and Tanner.
